Training needs analysis
Find out what people need to do differently before anyone builds a course.
Many training budgets are spent on courses that answer the wrong question. A needs analysis tells you what is getting in the way of good work, which of those problems training can fix, and which it cannot.
We speak with leaders and managers about performance priorities, survey staff, and run small listening sessions where people can be candid. You receive a short, clear report with priorities and a recommended first step.
What this can include
- Leader and manager interviews
- Staff surveys and listening sessions
- Analysis of existing feedback and performance data
- A prioritised plan: what to train, who needs it, and what to do first
We work with organisations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and across the UAE, in person or online.
Our experience
Before founding KZ, Keri Zeller ran needs assessments for more than 175 faculty and 40 staff as Head of Faculty Training & Development at Webster University Tashkent, and ran staff listening sessions on AI at Tashkent International School.
Questions
What is a training needs analysis?
A training needs analysis (TNA) is a structured look at what people need to do differently in their jobs, what is getting in the way, and which of those gaps training can close.
What do we receive at the end?
A short report with priorities: what to train, who needs it, what training will not fix, and a recommended first step.
Do you work outside Abu Dhabi?
Yes. We work in person in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE, and online with organisations in other countries.
